Today is Father’s Day…
And I wanted to celebrate it by looking back at the photographs taken throughout different stages of my life.
A journey that began as a 6-month-old baby…
A 6-year-old child…
A 16-year-old dreamer…
A 26-year-old young man fighting his way through life…
A 36-year-old father carrying responsibilities on his shoulders…
A 46-year-old man learning the true weight of life…
And today…
I am 56 years old.
Each photograph tells a different story.
Each age marks a different chapter.
Each chapter holds memories that shaped who I am today.
When I look at these pictures, I don’t just see the passing years.
I see my childhood…
My youth…
My friendships…
My struggles…
My victories…
My losses…
And above all, I see the privilege of becoming a father.
Over the years, I have learned that the greatest title I have ever carried is not my profession, my achievements, or any recognition I have received.
The most precious title of all is simply:
“Father.”
Today, I realize once again that a person does not become rich by the years he lives, but by the love he receives from his children.
I thank God for allowing me to travel this road from a 6-month-old baby to a 56-year-old father.
And I pray for more years ahead…
To see 66…
76…
86…
96…
And, if God wills, even 106 years of age.
Perhaps my hair will be completely white by then.
Perhaps I will be walking with a cane.
But I hope I will still stand in front of a camera with the same smile and say:
“Thank You, God, for allowing me not only to live a life, but to collect more than a century’s worth of memories.”
On this Father’s Day, I celebrate all fathers who dedicate their lives to their children, who work tirelessly, who sacrifice without expecting anything in return, and who give their love unconditionally.
And I remember with love and gratitude all the fathers who are no longer with us.
How fortunate I am…
How fortunate my children are…
How fortunate those who can proudly say, “I am a father.”
❤️ Happy Father’s Day to all fathers around the world. ❤️
From the innocence of a 6-month-old baby to the heart of a 56-year-old father… a lifetime captured in photographs.
