AMERICAN SUCCESS STORY FROM A YOUNG MAN OF GİRESUN

A young man of Giresun origin, Kaan Kartal Akıllı, who lives in New Jersey, USA, has graduated from the Camden County Police Academy and officially begun his duty as a police officer at the Pennsauken Township Police Department.

Registered in the Yağlıdere district of Giresun, Kaan Kartal Akıllı is one of three children of Esma and Ayhan Akıllı. He has drawn attention with his academic and career achievements. Despite his young age, Akıllı has accomplished significant milestones and, during the graduation ceremony, took his oath and officially joined the police force.

Kaan Kartal Akıllı graduated from Clayton High School in New Jersey in 2024. During his high school years, he also took university-level courses, shaping his academic path early. He successfully completed a two-year university program online and graduated from Rowan University.

Continuing his career journey without interruption, Akıllı also completed firefighting school in 2025. With a goal of building a career in public safety, he was later accepted into the Camden County Police Academy.

After successfully completing an intensive six-month training program, Kaan Kartal Akıllı graduated from the police academy in 2026 and qualified to serve at the Pennsauken Township Police Department.
